"Original" - "Stunning" - "Unique" and " Beautiful" are some of the comments I have received about my creations. I incorporate a wide variety of both styles and materials in my designs in an effort to best enhance the natural characteristics of gems and semi-precious gemstones.
I enjoy the challenge of turning unremarkable freeform semi-precious gemstones into artistic jewelry using sterling silver and 14k GF wire to frame and enhance each piece. I use the inherent beauty of silver and gold in the creation of wearable art bracelets and neck pieces. I also seek vintage crystals, beads, brass, copper and pewter components and findings to further expand the range of designs in my work.
I constantly strive to find unusual and rare
materials to work with such as Larimar, Caymanite [found only in the
Cayman Islands] and Black Coral.
